ITINERARY

Day 1: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Gorges.

After picking up the hotel or riad where you are staying, we will head south towards Ouarzazate. Along the way we will cross the amazing landscapes of the Atlas by the incredible Tizi n’Tichka pass, 2,260 meters high. At 30 kilo-meters from Ouarzazate, we reach the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, the most surprising fortified town in Morocco, it served as backdrop for films such as Gladiator or The Kingdom of Heaven. We go on to arrive to Ouarzazate, where we will see the Kasbah of Taourirt. And then we drive at the Thousand Kasbahs Road to Skoura, after that we cross the Roses Valley to finally reach the Dades Gorges where we will stay at night.

Day 2: Dades Gorges - Todra Gorges - Merzouga

After a delicious breakfast we head to Dades valley and cross the incredible gorges of Todra, where we stay until lunch. After a pause for lunch, we will head to Merzouga and cross the Palm groves of Jorf (where the best dates are) and Erfoud, a small town where you can visit a marble workshop. Rissan is the holy town of Morocco’s Once wee are in Merzouga, we will leave the vehicle to get in the desert on the back of a camel to search of the camp where we will spend the night. Here, in the silence of the desert, we will enjoy one of the most authentic dinners in all of Morocco under a sky full of stars.

Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani-Alnif-Tazarine - Draâ Valley - Agdez - Marrakech

Sunrise is an unforgetable and charm memoen in the desert, enjoy a great moment over the dunes. After contemplating this moment at the desert camp, we ride camels again to go to a hotel where we have shower and have breakfast. After that, we will drive long drive in order to go to Marrakech. We pass the Palmeral of Tafilalet and the town of Rissani (origin of the Alauí dynasty) we arrive at Alnif, where we will take the road that crosses the mountain range of the Anti Atlas. Marvelous by the mountainous landscapes we will arrive at Tazarine (important Berber town), N’kob, finally, to the Draa Valley and its surprising palm tree. After crossing the Anti Atlas by the port Tizi n Tnifift (1660 meters) we will arrive in Ouarzazate, where we will stop to eat. After lunch we will continue the road to Marrakech.

We will be back from our desert excursion from Marrakech to your hotel around 7:00 p.m.
